pregnancy journey so far...

i've well entered my 2nd trimester...
20weeks to b exact... so 20 more to go...

sometimes i wish june could come faster...
my sickness have been bugging me since d week i got d double lines.
ppl says it should be gone at least by d 16th week
but i guess not yet for me...
it's improving though...
loya suke hati die nak dtg bile2... but in a week konfem ade ari yg i extra weak...
appetite is still zero. so i jus eat wutever food i can find...
kalau nk tanye arini nak makan ape... mmg xtau nk mkn pe....
my usual meal is roti bakar letak tuna or kaya...
am still hopefuls for my honeymoon days though :)

owh n i am such a lazy bum since i got pregnant
no cooking no laundry-ing no vacuuming no movie-outing no latenite lepak-ing wif frens
most of d time lepak umah g keje blk keje rehat
rase xde mood nak buat pe2
during the early days of pregnancy rase geram gak dgn diri sniri for being so weak...
tp x terdaya nk push myself...
alhamdulillah ideal has been very supportive n understanding..
been helping A LOTTT in managing d house chores..
can't say thank you enuf to him every single day... :)
tp mmg siyes kurang membebel and pasrah je die wat pe kat rumah tu.. hikhik
i dont even care how he does d laundry as long as the clothes are washed.
kalau x dulu gile cerewet and mmg i x kasi die basuh baju to elakkan i membebel :P
same goes to susunan baju dlm almari, which hanger to use, cara sidai baju semua2 lah now pasrah je...
i'm jus thankful enuf he's willing to help so i better shut up and redha je ape die wat kan... hehehe

owh lepas tu dah lama gile x balik kampung jenguk d families...
so insyaAllah next week balik muar jumpe d in-laws...
they'll see d baby bump for d first time.. heeee
dah 5bln baru nk tunjuk i'm so sorry for being so weak before...
hopefully perjalanan balik muar dipermudahkan n no loya2...
last week dh berjaya blk KL... agak memenatkan but selamat pegi n selamat balik...

but despite of all d sickness n fatigue im experiencing...
im grateful for giving a chance to experience it...
been praying for this miracle since we tied d knot and so i will embrace any till i can see my little one... :)
alhamdulillah baby has been very active and growing healthily
n having to experience a life growing in my tummy...
it is really such a blessing...

2012 is gonna be a happening-challenging-interesting year of my life..

finally after 2yrs++ being married... we are finally expecting... Alhamdulillah...
and with dat little miracle coming... our life needs a little bit express modifications...
which means we will be more financially challenged.
have to forego some of my owh-i-so-want-but-definitely-dont-need wishlist..

priorities are making a list.

both of us will make it through insyaAllah for our little baby...
wishing for a good ending to 2012 and greater years ahead... :)

last nite was a lonely nite for me...
so what i did was to bloghop & stalk fb profiles...
it was great to read bout happy life of your frens n families...

i know it's unhealthy but sometimes i can't help but to wonder... what ifs...
heh... doesnt mean i'm not happy wif my current life...
cume kekdg suke je berangan2 pasal "kalau" ni... hehehe saje mereka2 cite ala2 novel
so dont get me wrong... i know Allah knows best... i'm grateful wif all that has happened in my life
some of my popular "what ifs"

what if i didn't agree to go to boarding school in form 4?
what if i didn't stop taking tennis class when i was in standard 1 jus bcos i want to take art class?
what if i learn to play musical instruments since i was 5?
what if i did go to the gymrama camp for sukma '98 when i was in standard 4?
what if i didn't go to UTP?
what if i choose my passion on arts n architecture OVER petronas scholarship?
what if i keep on staying in rship with any other men i've been with? this thoughts akan disusuli wif all dramas of life. ahahha. none of it got happy endings in my thoughts
what if i pursue my many crushes??? it was harmless notty thoughts... hehe
what if i didn't agree to come and work in kuantan?

banyak lg what ifs... ehehheeh
but they are jus what ifs thoughts... hehe
i would never give up my current life wif my fabulous family over any of the what ifs! heheh
especially not my hubby. :P

yesterday, i was feeling bored. hubby was working the day-shift so i was left alone for d wiken.
so... i went to town, got my self a facial, n tetibe trase nk wat bekam~
dah ramai actually recommended the so called natural pain relief treatment (dat's wut they called it in the brochure).
i was nervous but kinda looking forward to the results n its miracle.
so first was the consultation, the therapist would ask what's ur health problems & areas of usual pain.
mine is migrain and back and shoulder pain.
so she suggested a few spots for the bekam.
i was all in agreement and left everything to her judgement.

so the treatment begins...
first spot was at the center of my neck at the back. it was ok~~ the pain was bearable n i was embracing it thinking that my head is gonna feel so much lighter after this.
then starts the spots at my back. ouch!!! sgtla sakit!!
huhuhuhu. i actually counted the no of needle jabs i got for each spot... cos it was so painful n i jus needed to distract my mind from the pain.
so for the larger spots at my back, i got around 70-80 jabs. for the smaller spots around my neck n forehead, i got around 30-40 jabs.
the neck is the least painful.
the forehead was kinda painful but bearable sbb 30-40 jabs je
but for the back, there were times when i had to stop the therapist for a minute to take my breath n ease the pain. sakit~~~~~ at first it felt like the needle jabs taken on ur finger during basic blood test for sugar level. but imagine 70-80 times the needles punctured thru ur skin. n the needles were even thicker than the one used for normal blood test.
but during the sucking period, it was not as painful. boleh rase die suck ur blood.
n my toxic was like~~~~ masyaAllah~banyaknyee~~ huhuhu.
even the therapist pon ckp mcm ni br puas ati buat sbb kuar banyak.
huhuhuhu.
the toxic blood was dark red and clumpy.

after the bekam session, they would put a herbal oil to close the wounds and makes the healing process faster. mase die letak minyak ni.... akan rase pedih sket. huhu.

so after my experience...
kalau org tanye if i recommend it or not
yes, it is good for health n all s it got rid of the toxic in ur blood stream.
but.... be brave! and kalau u rs amik darah utk blood test tu sakit....
u might not wanna opt for it. :P

I'm done using free blogger templates cos it always gave me problems... sgt annoying.
so i'm choosing to use the provided blogger template n only custom change its fonts n background colors...
n now me prasan my customized page looks sweet n cantek.
hikhikhik. ignore my perasan-ness if u can't bear it. :P

my next project is to custom design the blog header... dat might take some time since i'm not feeling so creative tonite... so later2 me update d new blog header k.

klah memandangkan me tgh melayan 'so you think you can dance' at d moment.

i was in mood swing n a lot of pressure at work from last week...
wif d negative atmosphere during dis PPA conclusion cycle... i so dread going to d office...
applied for leave on Monday n got rejected...
then got series of encounter wif people who jus have d talent to jus pisses me off...
so... well... my mood was not running high~

until....

i came home around 6.30pm today so dat i got enuf time to see hubby b4 he went off for work at 7.
guesss wut~~~
THIS was waiting for me....

oh i'm sooo loving it. n suddenly my broadband bile click to this lappy... die cam berfungsi dgn efisyen nye...
i got to connect to ym which i was never able to do before this using d company's lappy... n d time it took to upload photos adalah sgt cepat... so i'm so loving dis~~!!!! dr td melayan intenet!

n of cos i'm so loving the hubby for such a nice surprise... eyh salah... for such a GREAT surprise~!!!!
now i rase besalah nk minx adiah bes2 for bday n our anni in May...ke nnt May rase besalah tu dh ilang? hikhikhik... we'll see...

Langkawi Travelling Tips... Part I

Hubby n i went to spend 4d3n in Langkawi.. n hell it was great.
Yeah... I've been to Langkawi quite a few times already... n i even practically lived there for about 3 years but that was wayy2 back when i was 1-4 yrs old.

I've never been to Perhentian or Redang or Tioman... but I've been to Pangkor... n i definitely am voting for Langkawi against Pangkor. Pangkor is a bit dull to me... n sad to say... d island was not well kept and taken care of. Hope it has changed from the last time i visited Pangkor.

We purposely didn't book our accom when we went to Langkawi... there's a story behind it tp malas nak cite.. hehe... so wut we did... once we arrived there, we got ourselves a rental car n went for hotel/resort/chalet/motel-hopping. our intention was to spend a lot on activities n shopping so... we had a very low budget for the stay-in. I did some survey before going... n we've made our mind to focus our search in P.Cenang area. Actually it was not hard as there were a lot of choices... but the 4-5stars hotel has a very whopping price... sgt not worth it... roughly below are some tips on the car-rental n accommodation:

Car - we paid RM60 for a 24hours duration of a Wira Auto. once u arrived at the airport there are counters of car-rental with 50% promo. But act, i personally think it was jus simply a gimmick so that ppl won't bargain for less after thinking that they are given 50% discount. So if u wanna get a better deal.. mungkin boleh mencuba bargain. once they handed over the keys to ur car... make sure u asked for the nearest petrol station. I can assure u the fuel tank is at its lowest when they handed over the keys to u. We filled in RM50 : enuf for 4d3n and two full island tour... so don't fill in too much kalau x rugi. when we handed the car back our fuel is well below the red line so i was very much satisfied wif our planning n fuel consumption. :P

Going places - before u start making ur move from d airport/jetty... don't get snobbish n ignore the ladies handing over pamphlets n brochures. they are actually giving out free maps (they hv different maps, so just take it all.. u can simply throw away the unneccessary later) n they have contacts of promotional island tours/island hopping n few more activities so... amek jer ok... they are not giving useless brochures like the one they r distributing at promo kiosk at d malls. hehe. From the map... u can practically plan ur days in the island n so dat u won't waste valuable time getting lost around d island.

Accommodation -
luxurious stay around P.Cenang : Casa Del Mar (RM700-800++ per nite), Pelangi Beach (RM800++ per nite), we only asked those two cos roughly we can est the price of other nice looking hotels along d beach. eheheh. so straightly we focused our seach on low budget hotels/chalets. u can also try aseania, awana (around 15min frm p.cenang),
budget stay: we found a new cabin-style chalet. the interior of the cabin is very nice, complete wif aircond n hot shower, priced at RM150/nite. others along the beach can range from RM100-RM240. others at the opposite side of the road, not along d beach... r priced around RM70-RM80. We stayed at Melati Tanjung for RM100/nite... got air cond n hot shower... so it was acceptable for me. but don't expect much... the room is relatively small n there's no coffee/tea facilities, room service, coffee house/bfast n towels are only changed every 2 days. If u wanna change it early though, u can bring the used towel to the reception n change. but it is along d beach... so the view is nice.
we stayed in Kuah town on our last nite in Langkawi... we chose to stay at Langkasuka Hotel (adjacent to langkawi parade... it was priced RM85/nite so it was relatively below our budget. However, i do recommend u to stay at P.Cenang over the town area. The town seems dead n dull at nite... it didn't feel like Langkawi there. heheh. cenang though is very happening at nite. full of great hang-out spots at nite along d beach... so.. u choose... :)

I'll share some tips on recommended eateries n activities later in Part II k... nak sambung doing my laundry... :)

my body is aching...i got bruises on my knees... n my toe nail is getting darker wif clogged internal bleeding...

had fun walopon x puas ati dgn hasel perlawanan...
i think i'm gonna love dis sport more than volleyball now~ mainly cause it got me sweat like crazy n body does feel lighter after a week of futsal trainings.
today is d rest day...
ideal br je belepas ke sg petani for his 3days training... n will only be travelling back on thursday...
urged him to come back on wednesday rite after his training ends... tp cam persuasion yg kurang berjaya...
trus rase bosan n sunyi d minute he went out~ gonna have meals...watch tv n play games alone till thursday... x bes langsung....
i wished i could take leave n follow him to sp... it would have been fun n great...
but i know i'll dread d days when i got back to work n face a loooootttt of task-to-do from d boss.
nope... i can't afford taking leave now... keje banyak sgt...
even my ppa pon x sempat complete lagi...
n i need to have regular dance trainings for petronita dinner this coming friday...
owh i'm so loving my side-activites at d moment...

cepat sungguh masa berlalu.. kan kan~ n i've been abandoning this site for quite sometime.
spent time reading others n jus can't find d mood to write anything jus yet~ haish.

life was hectic.

workload - i'm still thinking y some ppl got time to say they got nothing to do today... but i somehow alwes got work to do... is it me? am i slow in executing d jobs? or perhaps it's bcos i am extremely particular n perfectionist which at times prolonged my job. i could spend 10 precious minutes jus to get the lines of an org chart to be perfect. x boleh tgk kalau ade yg cam x selari even for 0.01" margin. so if u came by to my ofis... u'll see how i changed in front of the pc. i'm used to comments like asal muke ko ketat..asal ko serius sgt.. ko ni wat keje x sedar org lalu pon. i need to loosen up a bit... kan kan?

backup plan (aka future plan) - i'm still considering very seriously to venture in business world. still finding my passion. i know d world has a lot more to offer... makan gaji n working for others... so not motivating at all to me. used to have the dream to b a gm one day... tp skrang rase cam nk brenti je all d time. huhuhuhuh.

brief getaway - i love getaways n vacations. it took my mind totally off everything. work problems. social problems. family problems. anything. name it. mmg hilang segala2 problem. yg ade hanyalah fun fun n fun. n sgt sronok to have a hubby who knows how to have fun s well. hikhik. we went to Langkawi for 4days last 2 week.. n it was truly a great adventure. we tried everything. nnt la.. i'll write in details bout Langkawi trip tips and must do! hehehe.

health & fitness - i've gained weight yg sgt ketara since the first month of my marriage. n the remarks were starting to get to my nerves. so since last month kot... i started out my healthy lifestyle regime... to get d figure n boost up my metabolism back to my single years. currently... am committing myself to regular dance classes, futsal trainings, swimming (belum dpt regularkan lg) n my new venture in golfing. :D. now i know golf do make u sweat!! haha. seriously... i was sweating jus learning to swing d club at driving range. belum masuk pdg lg kot.. hihu.

family - going great jus being d two of us!!! heheh. marriage is awesome. it simplifies so many things and so many complexity in my life. so i'm so enjoying married life. we are both still trying to get our little juniors... so let's jus b patient. perhaps my mother is rite... belum rezeki... Allah nak beri peluang for me to get used to hubby working in shift and spending nights/days without him. cos once the baby comes in... d challenges n stress r going to b bigger. i had to take care of d baby alone at nite when he's working. so yeah... i guess she's rite... there was one time ideal kene keje malam stret 10-15 nites. x ingat.... tp for d first week. x stress pon... bile dh msk d 2nd week... bibit2 stress mule timbul. :P so i'll jus b patient for now... Allah will know when we are both ready for the next adventure... :)

p/s: me sgt malas bab meng-upload gamba... cos there were times when i choose not to write sbb mls nk uplod gamba or d pics belum transfer to pc. last2 x update dalam tempoh yg amat sgt lama. so... terima jelah tulisan tanpa gmba k... :P

"Dah sehat skrang. Dah tembam skrang. Anis x jaga badan ke skrang. Dah berisi skrang."
I KNOW I'VE GAINED SOME WEIGHT so y dont u jus leave me alone n stop giving me criticism yg sungguh x membina.

mungkin juge i'm feeling sooo depressed at d moment due to my PMS.....

sgt xde mood. nak marah tp kesian plak kat orang yg kene marah tu nnt...

I never guessed that "walking down d aisle" is actually the highlight of a wedding until i experienced my own wed. :)

It was... it was d moment when u have all sorts of feelings in ur stomach. rasenye time nikah pon d feeling was not dat strong. Perhaps it was bcos... when u make ur entrance... all eyes r on u... ur families, ur frens, u bffs, ur colleagues, ur parent's frens, d caterer's people (every single people in ur wed-day pays their attention to u). So time tula I was all sweaty.. nervous sgt... i ddn't even know how to smile...penat je reminded myself not to grin during my wedding so that my pics would look nicer... but well.. being me.. i still grin all d way... :P

N my walking-down-d-aisle moment was truly the most memorable n special moment of my wedding day... i had to hold my tears back then... So... here are some of the "must/nice-to-have' things that i felt add on to the moment being so special:

Red carpet - a must have : u r a d queen n king of d day after all.
The march-in song - choose a song dat touches ur heart. Mine was "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain. the version yg ade little words prior to d song... the lyrics nearly got me all teary and made me realized... hey....i'm now married - its d moment n moment on....!!! :D
some ppl used kompang to accompany them during d march in. yeah kompang mmg la menyerikan majlis...like an announcement with no words... tp kekdg kalau kompang tu lame sgt... sakit tau tlinge pengantin dgr bunyi kompang yg amat kuat tu kat belakang die. :P so y not divide ur entree to a few phases. mule2 mase turun kereta (main kompang) till u reach d entrance of d hall/venue/wutever jus to grab everybody's attention. then moment of silence (leh wat doa ke or selawat ke or jus few min of silence) - mase ni dupdapdupdap ok. then play ur song n make d beautiful entrance all d way to ur pelamin... it is jus beautiful............ (tgh tebyg2 my own day aritu hikhik)
Flowers~!! n lottsa flowers - u can choose for d flowers to b in a flower stand or in forms of flower balls or flower arch or u can make ur walkaway ala2 gazebo with flowers n ivy all over... hehe. sweet~ dn't forget ur hand bouquet... it can also help to hide ur shaky hand. :P and perhaps... flower gals to shower u wif fresh petals... :) jus lovely...
Ur bridesmaid(s) - choose someone u r comfortable wif and who have been standing by ur side in most of ur life: be it ur siblings/cousins or bffs... choose those u hold dear cos there's nothing more comforting than their hands and words of comfort when u r all nervous. :) n it's not wrong to have many bridesmaid(s)... hehehe. cume sorg je la ikot naik ke pelamin tp all of ur bffs can be the maids of d day...
Hold each other's hand - HELLO PEEPS~!!! U R MARRIED~!!! ehhehehe... schweet occay...

where u get wedding invitations for every single weekend of d month... hehehe.
d wed-month has returned... n i've so far received 4 invitations for each wiken..

congrats to all the brides n their groom:

26/10 & 3/10 - elly & iba
10/10 - ikha
18/10 - matdin (ideal's cousin) and also my fren lynda

so s u can see now i'm torned apart again! ideal's cousin is getting married in johor and my fren lynda is getting married in KL. i truly insanely ultimately want to go to lynda's wedding~!!! i know her wedding is gonna be lovely n beautiful n it's a wedding a dont wanna miss. haish... but of cos... there's a whole bunch of families' heart that i must consider too... :(

we've discussed n hopefully the plan work. we'll go to his cousin's house d day before... all out to help d family in preparing for d big day... cos they are going to do a "rewang-styled" kenduri which means... lottttsss n lottttss of work awaits us... so on d 18th hopefully around 3pm we could excuse ourselves n make our way to lynda's wedding which starts at 8pm. :( i'm crossing my fingers wut's in plan works fine... then after lynda's wed we need to drive stret back to kuantan... cos 19th is a Monday! confirm monday blues! halah3~~~

can't wait to go to all these weddings though~!!!! hikhik.

yup. i had to spend d raya in kuantan.
away from parent. away from relatives. away from friends. :P but it really was not totally away from everything as wut i expected. hehe.

of cos... d day before raya tu cam all busy rearranging the house... n preparing for raya.
i was in a very energetic n my raya mood was soaring high... maka menjadilah kuih last minitku... kuih samprit... :P walopon d look of it x brape menjadi... but i think d taste is well reserved! hehe. mengikut kata2 org yg merasa sedap n as i'm writing this blog... adela tinggal dlm 10 bijik je lagik kot... yg lain dh slamat kene ngap. hehe

then moved on to cleaning and arranging the furniture.
then my next project was to call up my mom, ideal's auntie and my cousin's wife and ask for recipe. hahahah. rendang ayam & laksa from mama. lontong from aunty is. kaksal for daging rendang tok. start going thru my groceries checklist n decided to cook rendang ayam n lontong je after considering i'm gonna work alone in d kitchen n i doubt i'll have d energy to cook everything. :P

so dat nite i started to cook the rendang ayam... senang je rupenye... main masuk2 je... lepas tu tunggu masak. ahhaha. :P cume my kerisik ade sdikit hangit. after consultation wif mama baru found out...kalau nk goreng kelapa wat kerisik... bile die dh stat perang sikit2 tu terus tutup api... den smbg je goreng tanpa api... cos d heat from the pan will continue to cook the kelapa. dah brownish kasi sejuk sket den trus tumbuk to get kerisik. hehe

lepas tu trus siapkan bahan2 to cook lontong 2morow morning cos i know i'll start my morning in the kitchen late 2morrow. i'm so not a morning person. :P

so end up sleeping around 2am that day n woke up at 6.45am and went stret to kitchen to reheat d rendang. boiled the nasi impit nona (yup... dis yr xde ketupat palas original sbb xtau anyam daun) so nasi impit jela... den trus wat lontong n d sambal kuah kacang (also segera nona. heheheh)

ideal came back from work around 7ish.. n he was sent stret to take d sunat ari raya shower... n while i was cooking...smelly...n messy... he's getting all well-groomed, handsome and wangi. haish! first time raye i was all selebet di pagi raya being d housewife in d kitchen. so off he went to solat raya sesorg leaving me wif my half cooked lontong n nasik impit.

seb baik all was ready before he came back from d mosque... so when he returned... all was ready including me! hehe. all wangi wif my baju raya. sebak gak time beraya wif hubby (1st time la katekan)... den called mama n abah... tried to make it sound all cheery n happy to avoid a soppy raya morning over d phone. hehe. :P i did save my tears.

then came our first guest... a neighbour wif his son... n after about 10 min,... suddenly our house was flooded wif our front-door neighbour n his family members!!! ramai gile ok!!!!!! me panic a lil bit cos my pinggang mangkuk yg dikeluarkan sket je... yg lain sume dlm kotak atas almari. aahhahahaa. last2 biar jelah dorg pakai ape yg ade... pinggan, mangkuk kecik, mangkuk besar sume kuar. :P sudu segala jenis sudu pon kuar. seb baik we were prepared wif bottles of soft drinks so i didn't have to prepare any drinks for guest. at dat time i was so relieved dat i cooked evrything extra... kalau x malu je xtau nk idang ape to guest. :P

so... d start of my raya was definitely not a boring and lonely one. amat meriah ok... i was pretty sure it was merrier than the one i had in KL 2 yrs back. :P cume of cos... i missed my family.

we went to a colleague's house later n i received a confirmed news from mama dat they r coming to kuantan dat evening!!! heheheh. so makin meriahlah rayaku after dat.

mama, abah, afaf, ijat, abg khalis n nuha my niece pon datang! they spent 2 nights there and jus went back yesterday. mama siap bawak dtg daun palas and i took the lesson of anyaman very seriously this time around! thn depan nekad nk buat sniri. heheheheh.

so.... it really was an exciting n great raya for both me n hubby. i got to spent d morning raya wif hubby n later shared d happiness wif ma beloved family....

nway... encounters wif ma frens raised queries on my loooong-dead-blog... so am making a little effort to update a lil bit here...

after all i know i'll have lots of free time next week during hari raya break mainly bcos am gonna spend d raya leaves here in kuantan wif my beloved hubby instead of balik kampungs. He got to work during d hari raya and hey it's our first raya as hubby n wifey... it feels right to spend d raya morning together... :)

mama abah suggested that they also spend d holidays over here in kuantan n i'm more than flattered to have them at ma house~ :D ideal's auntie n her family is also planning for a pitstop at kuantan on their way to kelantan... so maybe it's not gonna b a lonely n boring hari raya leave at all... we'll see... :D

we are both prepared to celebrate aidilfitri regardless of being jus-d-two-of-us. we've decorated the house wif colorful fairy lights and 10 pelita~! i've done my duties baking simple raya cookies like tat nenas and coco crunch cookies. planning to bake samprit and buat kuih siput tomorrow but bergantung kpd my energy level tomorrow eyh~ :P tp kuih raya yg dpt pon amat banyak sbenarnye... so tgkla 2mrow cane.

i've collected my so-called baju raya from the tailor (didn't buy any...sume kain2 yg dpt from my wed/family) and ideal jus wanna re-cycle his baju nikah. i insisted on buying him a new baju melayu but none from the shopping mall/raya bazaar is to my liking... so we'll stick to his baju nikah tailored by abg man. :D but i'll make sure to sent him for a tailor made baju melayu next year! no "No need" for an answer nxt yr!

so... i guess... selamat ari raya idulfitri... to all my friends and readers....

How to save ur wedding budget...

I had just done my reception and feeling very content with the result of my 6-month planning and preparation. With the help and advices from my big sis... alhamdulillah, I got to save some penny in spending... adela terkucil sane sini... but i made sure i spent on things that really are worth my money and the things I appreciate. :)

There are a few tips on how to be budget savvy n not to burnt a hole in ur purse for ur wedding:

1) BE CREATIVE & HARDWORKING - create ur own deco, search for DIY ideas and DO IT! Don't give up on making ur dreams come true... sacrifice a few night outs to work on ur wedding... after all it's a once in a lifetime event. so.... rajin-rajin kanlah diri. Sometimes... U'll surprised yourself once u've finished the job. Things u might want to consider for DIY : card design, doorgift, hantaran, flowerballs, inai, guest book, thank you tag, etc2.

2) DO RESEARCH - before u decide on anything (photo/video graphers, makeup artist, dress maker, cakes, henna, spa treatment, honeymoon) basically EVERYTHING. Do your own research. Research includes : magazines... websites & blogs... friends' recommendation... etc2. I did mine mostly thru the web. WWW is rich with information... :)

3) WINDOW SHOPPING - it's best to window shop for options first before u buy... that's if u have the time and if u r the kind of people who would like to keep the options open. Once decided. BUY and NEVER EVER window shop on the items anymore! Sgtla scary n risky... cos u might end up buying a LOT of doorgift.. a LOT of tudung (i did! haha)... a LOT of accessories (i did also :P)... and a LOT of other similar things of which u'll end up only using one.

4) START EARLY - time plays a very important aspect. If u have time... everything will run smoothly... cos u won't panic early. When u r calm and relax... then u'll make a better decision... n being a woman... we tend to menggelabah cepat kan... hehehehe. SO NEVER EVER SAY "xpe... lambat lagi... 6 bulan lagi ade mase". Cos u'll never know what will come up at the very last minute... kekadang tu things we didn't plan or things we didn't pay much attention to... those are the things that u need to save for the final 2-3 days to your weddding. Like mine... sume dh setel.. but 2-3 ari tula paling busy... 2 kali turun g Ikea... beli frame la... beli candle for bilik la... nak beli tmpt gantung baju la... hikhikhikhik. Then mase tu la nak g wat manicure la..nk g urut2 badan la... nak g waxing la... bende2 ni not in d checklist aite! :D so be prepared... make sure u start early and finish all the big parts early too....

5) Lastly, always take a deep breath - it's calming and it's gonna soothe u... :) so u could enjoy every steps towards ur wedding... i really enjoyed mine...

has been quite a while kan since i last updated this blog....

excuse my absence... been very2 busy wif my wedding prep!

alhamdulillah... everything is working out ok and as per plan...

my wedding card was printed as per our design... alhamdulillah.... done tying all the ribbons so am gonna head to the post office on Monday. so frens... a white+blue card is coming to ur mailbox soon!

had our food testing at KGPA last wiken... changed some of the menu here and there...

(btw... their char kuew teow is very the nice! make sure u save ur tummy on my wedding for the CKT!) :D

deco ideas are pouring in like crazy... it is our main topic of discussion everytime me n my sis meet up. hikhikhik... tinggal pitihnye kurang nih... so kene improvise gak here n there... n gotta let go some of the PRICEY ideas... :P so tomorrow... gonna go to IKEA n SSF to materialize our ideas! howyeah! can hardly wait...
last nite...went for my dress fiting at Man Kajang's. I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And AbgMan confirmed my makeup artist would be Amy Janz... n i deeply love his work! beauuutifulllllll

the doorgift is still in progress... but d progress is also looking good... insyaAllah sempat siap... n we finally decided to change from giving eggs to giving chocolates... :) finally my mom agreed on our proposal... sbb die mule memikirkan the logical of our idea that chocs could ensure an early completion of everything while a boiled eggs could be a very troublesome last minute preparation sbb telur kene rebus one day before kalau x nnt telur tu busuk~ huhu. so... my sis dgn lajunye ordered the chocs and tomorrow we can pick it up for packing already... :)

I remembered having this conversation wif ideal when we hung out at benteng almost 17 months ago...

me: "de...de, de x minat mancing ke? mcm bes je mancing kat benteng ni kan... mancing kat laut pon bes kan?"
ideal: "mancing? minat je...ade joran kat rumah tu... tp dh lame x mancing"
me: "iye?????????? nnt bawakla kite mancing k!! dah lame tringin nk mancing sejak keje kat kuantan ni"
ideal: "betul ni? kite ngat die x suke... tkt nnt die boring je"
me: "boring??? x la.... mmg la kite kekurangan kesabaran... tp bes ape mancing...nak bwk kite ek ek ek...."
(n we ended d conversation wif sparkles in my eyes...anticipating d day out to fish)

AND guess what!
my waiting days was over last week. Out of a sudden, ideal called and asked "jom g mancing"
fuhhhh... that was a surprised... i waited n hinted him to take me fishing for months and finally on that day...he decided it's going to be our 1st day out fishing together

ME : EXCITED ALL OVER

1st time - we spent d night fishing at benteng and managed to catch: 1 gelama & 2 sirat (very2 ugly n disgusting fish).
2nd time - we went to the pecah ombak rocks at kuantan port - naice! i played apollo and caught 2 small fishes... sgt truje walopon ikan kecik
3rd time - we went back to benteng - i caught a labi-labi! hahahahah. trust me... that labi2 really freaked me out... tarik2 naik ade kaki empat... rupe2nye labi2. hahaha selain dr labi2 dapat ikan kunyit sekor.. :D
4th time - Ideal bought me my own personal fishing rod!!! hikhik. sgt truje masuk kedai joran... n me being me... i dont know how.. but my eyes always caught d expensive items... i eyed the RM400++ rod and RM300 motor. hahah.. but since ideal was buying it for me... ade sdikit consideration and i opted for a less expensive one. but still the excitement was very2 high. malu plak dgn uncle tu. We tried my new fishing gears at the nearby beach... ideal caught a tapak sulaiman (seriously! can a starfish catch a bait??? ekkeke) i didn't manage to catch any fish... but it was a great evening!

Can't wait to have more adventures fishing.... heheheh. even thinking of bringing my fishing rod to our honeymoon but ideal totally abruptly rejected the idea. ekekkekek. :P

Pameran Pengantin @ Ampang Point

iklankan kejap... pameran pengantin is currently going on at Ampang Point (4th & 5th March only) hihu... so... jom ramai2 g sane esok.. ehehhehe

nway... I checked out Isabella Kek earlier this evening... n yup.. the price info from Puteri is valid! They priced the cake at RM 88 per kg (flavour choice: butter vanilla, butter choc, butter orange, marble choc, marble orange) or RM 96 per kg (flavour american choc). I tasted the american choc cake... it was good... not d super-duper-delicious good... but d i-could-eat-a-whole-slice-no-sweat good. ehhehe. so... that basically passed my test.

The owner (her name is Penny) is indeed a very nice lady... can discuss n ask her jus about anything (only about cakes of cos). Usually they would give u 1kg free if u r taking the 3-tier and above cake so basically the top tier is free. And owh btw... the price above is for fondant icing (the hard sugar icing), for normal icing, it is very2 much cheaper but i didn't ask for the exact price... sowie~ hehehe.

nway... she was actually d one who reminded me about the Pameran Pengantin. All bcos her shop was practically empty at the moment of my visit... all her display stuff has been brought to d wedding exhibition.

So... I think i'm gonna go to Ampang Point tomorrow to see what it is about wedding exhibition. :) kalau i rajin... I'll update u guys wif d details tomorrow k.

K lah... i need to get some sleep now... got a whole lot of agenda for tomorrow wif my sis.

Worries are overwhelming me... butterflies r flying in me... it is now a month away... huhuhu

Had a dinner hangout wif Ayuni n Di d other day... Ayuni's date is getting even nearer!!!! hehehehe. can't help but to talk only about weddings everytime we see each other. It's practically our LIFE right now. ehhehehe. Getting d little details done and checked wif each other... it is so good to discuss n share it wif a someone who's planning too! hehehe. boleh betukar2 idea... n at d end... we got to share some interesting facts and contacts.

D day before i went out wif them... suddenly i was thinking about my wedding cake and how i want everything to be as perfect as I wish it would. :) actually my sis and i already decided to take d dummy 5-tier cake provided by KGPA for d wedding... but somehow... i started to think about it again and thought...why not get a real cake..even a 2-tier cake is enuf... so I did a little survey in d net... asked my married frens.... n i've actually found a cake shop which is so far has d most reasonable price wif interesting selections. Thanks to Puteri and her sis-in-law for d info!! ehehhe. I've checked out their site at http://www.isabellakek.com/ which displays a lot of designs and varieties. Now all i have to do is taste it! ehhehehe. Based on Puteri's testimonial... n i TRUST her taste in almost everything... their cakes r reasonably priced at around RM400 for a 3-tier cake. Believe me... that's cheap for a 3-tier! :D Overall thru my research online... d usual price is around RM 600-RM 800. So... i definitely am going to check out this shop. It is located along Jalan Genting Kelang at Setapak area and I think I'm gonna check it out today later in d evening! can't wait though.

Nway... i did some research on the design choices in d net... jus in case i wanted to custom made my cake... here are some of my fav designs.... let's see if u guys could vote for d best... perhaps i would consider d most popular design voted as my wedding cake.. :D

Finally! my broadband is working again... haish.. sgt mencabar kesabaran this celcom broadband...

it was lucky it broke down when i was busy preparing the company's Annual Family Day. It was themed "Family Fun Fiesta 2009" and as any other year, I didn't get d chance to enjoy much of the event... :( but i would say it was a great event... on behalf of the main organizing committee i was really hoping that everybody enjoyed themselves. But i guess i could never understand the nature of human who could never be satisfied for what they are given and blessed with.

No doubt i was glad it was over, i saw some aspects of improvement and success in the event, i saw people enjoying themselves, i saw laughs and fun, but i also saw the same disrespectfulness in some people, i saw d same greed and d so-called-integrity in human. however, i guess i learnt to let go of personal dissappointments and heartbreak days ago and none of these negativity bother me that much anymore... some people are just not worth ur time, energy and effort...so let them go...

At the end...I'm just gonna be glad and grateful that despite all this negativity, we still have those kind-reliable-sincere people in dis world... these are d people who will alwes have my respect...

Sneak preview of 2 weeks affair...

My apologies for my long absence from my blog... i was too occupied wif all sorts of things - my wedding, my work commitment, my family... lots lots lots... haish!

so... here's a sneak preview of my life affairs for d past 2 weeks! hehehe

3rd March

i took a day off from work to settle a lot of things that have to be settled during a working day
2nd follow-up appointment with my doctor at KMC - positive findings so i don't hv to go back for more followups - what a relief!
HIV test @ Klinik Kesihatan Balok - long wait due to the clinic policy to give priority for senior citizens, pregnant women, children and disabled. The results on the other hand came out very2 quick..adela 5 min kot.. ehheheh. so another big thing towards getting married settled too!!!

checked all the items needed before we submitted the "Borang Kebenaran Berkahwin di Luar Kawasan" at Pej Agama Kuantan: all necessary info and signatures in the form (penghulu kg, pen pendaftar nikah mukim, and a few others, don't worry it's all written in the form), copy of ICs (bride's & bridegroom's), copy & original of Sijil Kursus Kahwin (bride's & bridegroom's), Surat Akuan Bujang (bride's & bridegroom's), results of HIV test (bride's & bridegrooms's), passport size photos of both (some states require the bridegroom to wear a songkok in the photo, so wherever u wanna get married, it is safer for the bridegroom to readily take d photo wearing a songkok). Once all checked, we photocopied d whole application package for our record.
went to Pej Agama Kuantan and submitted the completed applications. The approval cert will be issued in the next 7 days - howyeah!!! :D
it was already 5pm when we finally settled everything... what a day! penat gile... we were later joined by tomok and spent d rest of d eve at the East Coast Mall.
Quenched our thirst at Black Canyon's Coffee with it's yummy smoothies; Phuket Paradise, Strawberry Delight & Blueberry Delight. all yummy yummy yummy - a must try if u are going there (my fav - Phuket Paradise!)

Weekend

went back home to Damansara
Saturday - took my nephew & lilsis to 1utama. Initial plan : MPH to buy storybooks, GSC to watch Upin&Ipin. We spent a few hours at MPH - books are good for children, so let them take their time to choose, read thru and then only u review which of their choices are worth the buy.. don't rush them... :) Fahim was always finding ways to get me to buy him the PS... hikhikhik. everytime we passed thru stores that sells PS he would say "makcik2...tu ape tu?". ekekekkek. he is so adorable for a 4-yr old kid! Upin&Ipin tickets were sold out for d day... so i bought d morning ticket for the next day... sronok dorg got another day out on Sunday. haish.
Got back from our little shopping spree just at d nick of time to go to Kelab Darul Ehsan, Ampang and helped my bigsis to setup a small event for her friend. Lovely decos i must say! but forgot to take photos of my own... i believe my sis will upload d photos in her blog soon (Shajaratul's Design) u may check them out later! :)
Sunday - another day out (morning wif Afaf & Fahim at Upin&Ipin, later wif Milia doing some gal's stuff shopping) heheheh
Monday - spent d day at home wif mama n d kids... then made d move back to Kuantan around 3.30pm.

A weekend back home is ALWAYSSSS good!!!! :D

very easy indeed, all u have to do is send them smses whenever you hear them play these 4 songs; I dn't wanna miss a thing, bad day, every breath u take, & can't fight d moonlite. if they play 1 song it's worth RM250, 2 songs Rm500, 3 songs Rm 1000 and all 4 songs played back to back is worth RM2500.
the contest started few weeks back so I already missed weeks of opportunities so just to try my luck, i did send a few smses whenever i hear they play the songs.
after just about 6-7 days of trying... on this lucky day... it was around 11.30am when i got d lucky call from red fm! n guess what... i just won myself RM250!!!! hikhikhikhik
this is d first time i entered such contests from radio stations... n i jus can't believe my luck. bes bes bes! i guess perhaps mayb bcos not dat many people listens to red.. sbb tu keberangkalian to win is a bit higher compared to other commercial radio stations. But after a week tuning to red... d station is not bad... d best thing: no stupid commercials & not many advertisements. they have this 40min non-stop music... n d music selections are also great.

Tips no 3.... actually... this should be ur 1st step in wedding planning... hehe sorry d tips came in a bit late.

My experience: it was a bit hard to find a wedding checklist that could suits your own event, usually those posted in the net are meant for western/chinese/modern wedding... not so much for a malay wedding. kalau for malay the one i found sume jenis checklist yg penuh huraian panjang bejela... which for me is not a checklist at all! however, yeah... u could still use some of the checklist and later perhaps u cld add on based on ur own personal needs. nntla... later2 when i got more free time... my next post would be on malay wedding checklist topic k! :D

so... back to planning ur wedding budget... here's wut i did... d moment after his family came for merisik to my house.... me & ideal sat down to break down our budget... do a major kira2 for the kenduri at both sides. our budget was divided based on our checklist (so a checklist is equally important to as a wedding budget). basically, it was allocated based on these major items:

My workshop ended at 4.50pm which means i have around 3hours to kill before i need to be at KLIA and board my plane home... :)

as usual.. i wld text my besties in klcc to hangout and hv an eve drink... sha had to leave work at 6pm and sue had to finish up some important task before she leaves d office... nurul was out of contact.. ehehhehe so... i decided to take a stroll in d parkson, isetan n all over suria. A VERY DANGEROUS DECISION i've made!!!! fyi, i've managed to keep myself from spending money on shopping and unnecessary things (definition of unnecessary: things that i don't urgently need but i LOVE!) huhuhuhuhu.

my visit to parkson brought me to the ladies shoes section... n i was already considering to buy either a guess stilettos, a guess wedges, or a ninewest work shoes! dem... i called nurul once again to ask her to help me make d decision. tp... nasib baikla d line was cut off in d middle of our conversation... so i put the shoes and walkaway.... (safely secured myself from dangerous zone 1) hihi

next visit.. isetan. i saw d sale ad at isetan entrance which is d main reason i went in... since i already spent my time eyeing for shoes in parkson, this time i went straight to the ladies apparel section. and that's about when i remembered dat i'm already bored with my current work pants and blouses. i tried a few pants,.... n my God! kenapela banyak sgt yg menarik ni~~~ i was torned! n ended up getting 3 new work pants for myself.... (but d price was quite a bargain for me... so dat's y i took 3... hihu) my excuse is acceptable aite! ehhehehe

so... d time i walked out of isetan... i was already feeling great and my adrenaline to shop is starting to build up again!!! excuse me... i haven't splurge for quite some time... so it was really2 exciting to start doing it again. ahahahah. i end up going into each retail shop there - nasib baik xde yg bekenan di hati ok! hahahaha. then i passed thru la senza! wow! SALE yg sgt menarik!!!

it was really packed in there... n d bargain was too tempting to resist. It's a violation of shopaholics mind not to go in!!!! bestnyerrrrr..... even d long queu to the fitting room seems worth my time. hehehe. i spent like an hour kot dlm tu... smpaila nurul n sue arrived when i was about to pay. :D n like any other time... i end up being d shop member (la senza member card is cute!) lalalalalalala~~~~

i should thank su'e n nurul for saving me from spending any more money... phewww... so we went stret to coffeebean... it was great to hang out wif ur besties... updating each other's life affairs... :) time flew quickly. we were later joined by pn shanana n her hubby en hakimi (owner of d braincellkilla blog). shared a few laughs over shanot's fouls.... ekkekkeke. she can b a coincidence entertainer (yg mmbuatkan org gelak tanpe die sedari)

d cashier in d pic sgtla aktif+energetic n hv a talent to annoy ppl - he actually nicknamed one of his cust Ms Madonna. hihuhuhuhu... ktorg layan jela gelak... seb baik dat lady ok je diberi nickname sebegitu. i guess she finds it flattering. ekkekeke

then i shared with them my prev dilemma in parkson... n dem! once again... a dangerous topic to discuss... so.... we decided to check the shoes again.... n welll... i guess u figured out... i ended up buying one of them. haish! i bought a 4-inch wedges.... n it's BEAUTIFUL!!! love love love. :D

It's been quite some time since i receive any invitation for a meeting in KL, so last week when i was required to be at Impiana on 26th Feb... i was like... malasnyeeee nk drive!!! So.. i decided to take the early morning flight on 6.50am from Kuantan to KL and take the last flight back to Kuantan which is on 9.55pm.

Since i was gonna have some free time on the flight, i figured out to make it a quality one...so... i decided to bring along some of my 'dawai bunga telur' to kill the time. Little did I know... how a big deal it was for me to bring d dawai on board! hihu.... so... when i was about to board the flight from kuantan-KL... kan ade scan2 bag kan.. here's wut happened:

Officer : awak bawak ape ni dlm beg ni?
Me : arr? bawak notebook and doc sket... (dgn muke sgtla inesen and i totally forgot bout the dawai)
Officer : Lagi????
(her face dah mcm curious sket... sooooo.. it made me to think harder... wut did i put in d bag sampai akak ni tanye bnyk ni ek~ THEN! pufff! i remembered d dawai!!!) hihu

Me : Ooooooooooo... saye bawak dawai~
Officer : Ha? dawai? Dawai ape?
Me: hihi... dawai bunge telur la kak... alamakkkk... takleh ek bwk dawai
(me trying to put the most inesen face and cube blagak tenang)
Officer : Oooo... cube bukak tengok...
Me: Boleh2... ni ha... dawai bunge telur... nak wat dlm flight (aksi mcm nk tunjuk excited sket) :P

Luckily... d officers kat ctu let me in... since it was not a big harm kot. :P phewww~~ seb baik...
So i went in n board d plane...

Stewardess 1: eh2... awak buat pe tu?
Me : buat bunga telur... :)
Stewardess 1: oyeke.... utk diri sniri ke org punye...? rajinnye....

Stewardess 1: bagusnye... bile kawen?
Me: :) insyaAllah bulan 5...
Stewardess 1: Owh.. x lame dah... bnyk lagi ke nak buat?
Me: Erm... dh siap bnyk jugak... tp final step x stat lagi... so bnyk la lagi
Stewardess 1: Ooo.. ok... congrats ye...

Scene 2: Inspection by Chief Steward
Chief Steward: ehhh... buat ape tu? kraftangan ye?
Me: eh xlah.... wat bunga telur
Chief Steward: oooo...awak nk kawin ke?

Chief Steward: Bile tue?
Me: InsyaAllah bulan 5 ni....
Chief steward: oyeke... ok2... gudluck n congrats

Scene 3: Distribution of nuts~
Steward 2: buat ape tu?
Me: tgh wat bunga telur
Steward 2: wahhh rajinnye... :)
(n then he went along to pass d nuts to other passengers

a few minutes later... he came back for d complete interview.. hiuhuhuhu

Steward 2: bile nak kawen?
Me: insyaAllah bulan 5
Steward 2: oooo... awak org kuantan ke
Me: taklah... KL (tepakse cos nk cut short d conversation sbb kalau ckp org kedah then i'll have to tell him probably half my life story. ahhahaha.)
Steward 2: then... ni dr kuantan ade ape
Me: ooo..x... keje kat kuantan... family kat KL
Steward 2: oyeke... nk kawen dgn org kuantan ke ni? keje kat mane?
Me: Keje kat gebeng... tau ke??? (hahahah... i alwes have this impression if u don't work in gebeng... u would never know d existence of that place. :P)
Steward 2: ermmm.. kat mane tu? (how right i was!!! mmg org xtau ok gebeng kat mane!)
Me: Jln menghala ke kemaman... :)
Steward 2: ooooo.... jauhnye keje

Me: MTBE (once again i was sure he didn;t know ape itu MTBE)

Me: Anak syarikat PETRONAS (i don't knw y... but i'm alwes reluctant to tell strangers that i work with PETRONAS. huhuhuhu)
Steward 2: oyeke.... :) ni blk KL jumpe family over d weekend ke
Me: oo... taklah... ade miting kat kl... mlm karang balik naik flight mlm ke kuantan. :)
Steward 2: oooo... ok... penat tu...klah... smbg la wat bunga telur tu... jumpe lagi ye...

phewwww.... 5 minutes after that... d captain made d announcement we are about to land soon... so there goes my whole trip in d plane... i packed back all the dawais... sempat lilit 100 dawai... oklah tu kan~ heheheheheh
When i passed thru d stewardess and stewards lineup, d captain wish me well for my wedding~ ehehehhehe... malunye~~ x pepasal all the flight attendants tu dah tau i'm getting married in May. hahahahaha... :P

Choosing The Theme Color...

Since i'm feeling fairly sleepy now... i'll blog in some simple tips on dis simple subject:

"Choosing a theme color for your wedding... how hard could it be????"

hehehehe... as simple as it may sound... even choosing the theme color can be such a chaos in the early days of your planning. y??? definitely cos a color sets almost every aspects of the event: ur decos, ur favors, ur pelamin, ur dress, ur cards, n d list goes on... And bcos of this particular reason, u'll find dat everybody close to you would suggest you a pile of colors to choose. n this is when u'll start going color blinded... heheheh.

Nonetheless... i think wht's d most important thing in choosing ur theme color is this:

let's say you choose color x,
what would be the best combination of color x that could be made as the color of ur wedding dress (let's say color y)
would color y suits (i) ur skin color, (ii) ur personality, (iii) d wedding itself! :)

dat is y a white wedding dress would alwes be the safest choice and white could practically suits every other color combination... but an all white wedding is a lil a bit boooring... dn't ya think? i did some survey... so here's some tips if u wanna choose colors other than white for ur wedding dress:

My excitement made me to tore open dis particular package right there right then! (wif my little sis by my side waiting wif curiosity (in her mind mungkin cani kot "apela yg kak anis excited sgt ni smpai x nyempat2 nk bukak kotak ni...") hihihihihihhihi

n my precious revealed its beautiful appearance.... "canteknyeeeeeeerrrr" (this remarks from my lil sis is enuf to make me smile from ear to ear!) n then came my mother from the kitchen..." awat yg dok riuh2 sgt ni??" ehhehehe n then i went "tgkla mama~~~~~~~~~~~~ handbag baru saya!!!!! lalalalalala~~~". I LURVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....

As what i said in my first post... i'm gonna use this blog as an avenue for my wedding updates and perhaps some tips.
So... let's start with the first step in planning ur marriage - choose ur venue!!!!

Personally, i think that choosing d venue is d most exhausting and challenging step in wedding planning... so... never procrastinate this! start immediately once u've got a confirmed date for your ceremony; be it the solemnisation ceremony or receptions.

Before u start ur hunt for ur perfect venue, do get these details sorted out first k... :)

budget breakdown ($$$$ is alwes d most important chunk of ur wedding planning)
number of guests u r planning to invite to each ceremony
ur wedding theme - ballroom/hall/garden/poolside/homey/ etc.2
time of wedding - day-wedding @ dinner-wedding

once u got these details in ur mind: go hunt for ur ideal venue!! :D

conclusively, i didn't choose POGH due to my constraint budget (sigh!) and its location
and i didn't choose Tropicana mainly due to my farther's preferences. hihu

Lots of other venue i would like to put in here... tp mcm bnyk sgt je... wutever ur choice might be... d main thing is ask ur heart! kalau ur first instinct mcm not so sure of the venue... go hunt for another... after all... IT'S UR WEDDING!!! :D

As for mine... i choose Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam at Bukit Kiara for both my solemnisation and reception, :) reasons for it:

it well suits my budget & my theme! (yeeha!)
my dad agrees to it...n so does my mom (phewwww)
it's very2 near to my house (5 min je kot using sprint. :P)
i was not so much convinced by the professionalism of its sales person during my site visit, but i trust my sis.... and being a perfectionist myself... i'll make sure of every details! (or so i pray i have the time n strength)

I blogged for few months (wayyy years ago) and my busy schedule just got me too occupied to keep on updating d stories..n now... I AM FINALLY SETTLING DOWN!!! :D and i jus got so many stories to share and kinda got tired of repeating d same stories to my frens (note here my besties are all over malaysia - 5 in kl, 1 in aloqstaq, 1 in melaka, and 2 in bintulu) to keep them updated with what's going on in my complicated life. hehe :D n dat includes my other frens (oldfrens,colleagues,not-so-close frens,exes-of-every-kind n etc2.) hihuhuhuh
soooooooooooo.....
dat's about when i decided to start blogging again..n pheww~! finding a title for dis new blog is already an exhaustion to my mind (need to get my creativity back i guess!!! duuhh) :P

hmph... for a start...
here's my initial plan of the purpose of this blog

1. I've been planning for my wedding (which is in May btw) so.... there were soooo much things happening every week. And since i'm d kind of gal who gets easily excited by all this little cute stuff.... wedding planning is something i really2 ENJOYED!!! sooooo... i wanted to share all the episodes of my planning... n perhaps some tips (if i can...mcm la dh terror sgt dlm bab wedding planning ni. hihi) to all my frens... :D

2. I'm getting bored wif my work which means now i came back from work a little bit earlier than usual (which also means i'll have more time to update blogs n surf d nets or so i hope... :P)

3. I'm simply one hell of a bubbly lady who can't find a fullstop when she start telling stories. :P especially if i love ur company and u make me comfortable... u'll keep me going n going n going until forever... hihi. i kinda hope this blog could lessen my desire to speak TOO MUCH. let's let d blog do d talking once in a while aite!
